40+ Nationalities Read Their Country’s Wikipedia Page In Local Language

Pay attention to the Wikipedia Page of your country!

Wikipedia is truly an invaluable resource and is used every day by millions of users around the globe. Chances are that whatever language you speak, there is a Wikipedia page just for that language. In fact, there are currently Wikipedias in more than 300 different languages, more than there are countries in the world. That sounds crazy, right?

That’s why due to my curiosity, I made a new challenge to test 40+ nationalities to find the Wikipedia version published in their native language. In this particular task, they have to find the Wikipedia page of their country. If your country is the United States, then its English Wikipedia would be “en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States”.

So without further ado, here are the challenge instructions:

CHALLENGE OF THE DAY

When I have time I’d like to make a blog called “40+ Nationalities Read Their Country’s Wikipedia Page”! So in preparation, let’s do this challenge:

🔎Go to the Wikipedia page of your country (published in your NATIVE language.)

🎙Record an audio:
*with your quick intro (just your name and native language)
*while reading the first sentence up to the sentences where you reach the 35 to 45-second mark of audio.
NOTE: Avoid reading those sentences within the parentheses.

📎Share also the Wikipedia page link.
